Materials: Brass (basic model, fast heat conduction), stainless steel (wear-resistant, compatible with carbon fiber consumables), hardened steel/ceramic (ultra-wear-resistant, compatible with metal wire materials);
Function: Accurately extrudes and deposits molten consumables (PLA/ABS/nylon, etc.) onto the printing platform; requires high-temperature resistance (180-400℃) and precise orifice size (0.2-1.2mm).
Application Scenarios
FDM/FFF 3D printers: Desktop-level home printers (brass nozzle), industrial-grade large-size printers (stainless steel nozzle), special material printers (ceramic/hardened steel nozzle);
Food 3D printers: Food-grade stainless steel nozzle, used for extruding ingredients such as chocolate and dough.
Adaptable Parts
Directly Adaptable: Feed throat (connects the nozzle to the heating block, requires high-temperature resistant materials such as PTFE or metal), heating block (fits the nozzle to conduct heat, aluminum alloy or copper), nozzle fixing nut (stainless steel, fixes the nozzle to the heating block);
Indirectly Compatible: Feed gear (pushes consumables to the nozzle, needs to match the nozzle orifice size and feed speed), printing platform (the consumables extruded by the nozzle are finally attached to this, requires horizontal calibration).
